S Lilley & Son were founded in circa 1840 manufacturing components for the then booming Railway industry. We subsequently became one of the first manufacturers of brass lampholders and lighting accessories, early in the 20th Century. We can therefore justifiably claim to be one of the oldest lighting business's still in ownership by decendents of the founding family.
